Student Welfare

At BIMS Law College, we prioritize the well-being and safety of our students by fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. We have established various student welfare committees to address grievances, prevent discrimination, and ensure a positive academic experience.

Grievance Redressal Cell

The Grievance Redressal Cell at BIMS Law College, headed by the Principal, addresses student concerns effectively. Students can report grievances through their Mentor/Class Teacher or directly to the Principal. A dedicated committee reviews and resolves issues in a fair and transparent manner. Although ragging has been eradicated, the cell remains vigilant in ensuring a safe environment. Students are encouraged to approach the cell personally and submit a written memorandum for prompt resolution.

Anti-Ragging Cell

BIMS Law College enforces a zero-tolerance policy toward ragging and harassment. Ragging, eve-teasing, or aiding such acts—whether mental or physical, on or off-campus—is strictly prohibited by law. Any student found indulging in such activities will face immediate expulsion. The Anti-Ragging Cell conducts awareness programs and ensures strict compliance with anti-ragging policies to maintain a safe and disciplined campus.

SC/ST Cell

Complying with UGC and KSLU directives, BIMS Law College has established an SC/ST Grievance Cell to ensure justice and equal opportunities for SC/ST students. The cell works to:

  • Prevent caste-based discrimination within the college.
  • Redress grievances related to academic, social, or personal issues.
  • Protect the rights and dignity of SC/ST students through affirmative action.
Students facing discrimination or challenges can register a complaint with the Principal or approach committee members for assistance.

At BIMS Law College, we are committed to creating an inclusive, respectful, and secure academic environment where every student can thrive without fear or bias.
